Welcome to Sonrise Church! Thank you for taking the time to visit our website! We started over 30 years ago to be a safe place for anyone to meet and worship a powerful God. Whether it’s your first ever worship experience or you have attended church your whole life, our goal then…and now…is to come alongside you as you walk the journey of knowing God. We want you to fall in love with Jesus and to discover the amazing adventure of living for Him!
Our church is located on Illinois Rd. in Southwest Fort Wayne with three morning worship services at 8:30, 9:30 and 11:00 AM. The 8:30 service is 45-minutes with a small church feel, while 9:30 and 11:00 embrace a more modern worship band experience and run about 55 minutes. There is no Sonrise Kids during the 8:30 service. You can also find our services online on both Facebook and YouTube.
Worship
Our goal each week in worship is that through our music or teaching, you will encounter the person of Jesus Christ. We believe that He longs to meet with each of us, and through His Spirit, engage in a vital, real, life-giving relationship.
We worship with a live band and seek to praise God together with current, modern worship songs followed by teaching that seeks to be true to God’s Word and relevant to your life. We laugh a lot, and sometimes cry, but always seek to know God more and glorify Him always.
What To Wear
The Sonrise family longs for you to feel at home with us. We believe Jesus cares more about who you are and what your relationship with Him is like, then what you wear. We are a casual bunch, where you can dress up if you like, but you can also wear your jeans or shorts and feel comfortable!
